How to determine if a Church is right for you.

The heart of God does not lye in a single denomination, it lies in the minds of those who will humble themselves before Him and claim Jesus as their loving savior, our Christ. The search for something greater than ourselves is a longing for our perfect father, and the oppertunity to serve in something greater than ourselves. We are filled with life, spiritual life, when we give to others rather than recieve. Breathing life into a greater purpose than our own, creating a heavenly family in a bond that can not be broken. How to determine if a Church is right for you.
Rule1: Never assume that because someone says they are a Christian. That they are true and faithful to their beliefs.
Rule2: If they are unwilling to submit to the authorities or be subject to judgment. They are not true Christians. The Devils ministry and its ministers never do like being exposed to the light of truth.
Rule3: If they give the impression that one is more righteous than another because of their works. They know nothing about God.
Rule4: If they propose they should exalt themselves or their own flock. And do not reach out to help others in their community. It is not God’s Church.
Rule5: If they are convinced that they only speak the truth and no one can say otherwise. They lean unto their own understanding and not the understanding of God.
Rule6: If you feel you are of no more concern to them than a pestilent mouse or insect. They are exalting themselves and not God.
Rule7: When involved in a debate or argument where you are not given the opportunity to speak. Or they raise their voice to be heard and tempers flare. Those people presume to be perfect and know everything without correction. Then they have exalted themselves as gods.
Rule8: Majority rules; All should have a say in decisions involving Church matters, great and small. And not be lead by just the men or the absence of the congregation as a whole.
Rule9: If Christians tell their children or Preachers tell the congregation to do as they say and not as they do. They are consumed with lies and darkness, the truth and God’s light is not in them. Walk the walk of Jesus, stop the talk of blasphemous heathens.
Rule10: If they show partiality and concern or compassion for those who don’t persecute them. They are not following in the paths of Jesus and have been stripped of power or God’s light of Love. (Love for Enemies, Luke 6:27-36)
Rule11: Do they show concern when you miss a day or are in-between jobs. When you aren’t present in Church?
Do they visit or call regularly, outside of Church, to see how you are growing in your faith?
Rule12: What kind of youth and out-reach programs do they have?
Do they concern themselves and seek to help non-congregational sinners? Or does their ministry only perform their works within the Church?
Rule13: Are the Ministers or the very head of the Church led by Ex. Drug addicts, child molesters, rapists, and murderers?
What kind of past life have these ministering leaders led?
Can even one person give an honest testimony of a corrupt or wicked past?
Did they serve the deeds of Satan under the illusion of being a Leader or Man of God? Claiming to be doing the LORD’s work with the intent to serve their own desires or carnal lusts.
Rule14: Have they made all of their beliefs in faith known to you?
Have they helped you in the knowledge of all denominations and which one is right for you?
Rule15: When debating the truth about their denomination according to the Word of God. Are they willing to help you recall passages from the Bible that you have a hard time finding?
Rule16: Do they use segments of scripture combined to prove their own faith verses your understanding? Or can they find whole pieces of scripture according to God’s Word to sanctify their faith? Backing it up with other whole segments of scripture. Such as 1Corinthians 7 and Ephesians 5: 22-33 or just chapter 5. Or maybe passages about Divorce like Matthew 19: 1-12 and Mark 10: 1-12. And passages like Marriage at the Resurrection by Matthew 22: 23-33, Mark 12: 18-27, and Luke 20: 27-40.
This is how you prove your faith according to God’s Word without adding to or taking away. So that we do not conform the Word of God to our needs and wants. But to the way that it is written. Anyone who teaches otherwise is not of God and God does not know them. So RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

America is the home of the brave and the land of the free, where all of man-kind are created equal, man and woman. In Christianity the playing ground must also be level at the foot of the Cross.

There is not a soul in this country that should ever be exaulted above another, especially concerning God's truly humble servants. We are all bound equally to the Laws that govern us in this country.

So when a preacher commits a crime they are to be treated the same as a regular citizen of the United States. While according to God's Law, His faithful servants are to delight in themselves in correction being thankful that we have proper laws to keep us whole and free from sin.

God's true deciples are eager to pay for any crimes they commit without rebuke, so they may live in the knowledge that all are created equally. While fully knowing that there truly are no leaniances towards even the best of men, to help build a better foundation of the laws we are so loving living by. That help create a more perfect nation in the sight of God and the goodness of His mercy. Standing on the conerstone of God's infailable Law and judgement according to His gracious Holy Word.   

Revelation 20: 1-4

  • And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

  • And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Weekly Wisdoms for the week of December 8, 2008

A person who can't submit to authority has no business being in authority.

Romans 13:1-2 says, Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

It is clear that submission to authority is a key requirement for being in authority. Rebelling against authority is rebelling against God because God has instituted that authority. God will not bless someone who rebels against Him. Thus, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience (Romans 13:5).

Furthermore, the Bible instructs you to obey your leaders and submit to their authority (Hebrews 13:17). This means that even if you disagree with your pastor, you ought to submit to him out of respect for God.

Therefore, submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men (1 Peter 2:13). Submit yourself to authority because a person who can't submit to authority has no business being in authority.

Watering down God's wrath dilutes God's love.

In an effort to make the Gospel more seeker-friendly, some Christians avoid talking about God's wrath, anger, and hatred toward those who have sinned against him. By watering down the wrath of God such people cheapen and diminish the love of God.

Such a faith void of God's wrath was characterized in the early 1900s by a movement called Protestant Liberalism. In 1937, H. Richard Niebuhr, professor at Yale Divinity School, gave this description of Protestant Liberalism's theology: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through a Christ without a cross.
"
As Niebuhr pungently demonstrated, eliminating God's wrath minimizes the cross, which is the ultimate manifestation of God's love (see Romans 5:6-8).

Because God is holy, perfect, and sinless, he deserves all glory, honor, fame, praise, and exaltation. However, when we sin—and every one of us sins—we insult God's holiness. Sin is fundamentally an offense against God, and so he hates sin and punishes all who sin against him (see Psalm 78:19-21, John 3:36, Psalm 5:5, Isaiah 13:11, Psalm 7:11).

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 1:18-19, describes the ubiquity of God's wrath: "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of human beings who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them" (see also Romans 1:18-31).

So, if we all are godless and wicked, deserving of God's wrath, how can he accept us? Does God say, "Well, at least you're making progress"? Does he grade on the curve: "You're better than average, so I guess I'll give you a passing grade"? No. God can't forgive like that because his holiness and justice demand that perfect satisfaction for sin be made.

Instead, what God does is this: He sends his son, Jesus Christ, to bear all our sins so that our sin is paid for by Christ. What an amazing act that the very one who you hated, scorned, reviled, and scoffed at is the same one who took upon himself the death penalty you deserved, and because all your sins are placed on him God declares you righteous.
That's good news!

If you don't realize that the bad news is that you, because of your sin, are an enemy of God who deserves the death penalty, then you won't realize the full magnificence of God's love for you expressed through Christ suffering the death you deserved. Because the bad news is worse than you think it is, the good news is better than you think it is.

Dear, Lord, God,...our Father in Heaven. Thy will be done on earth as it is done in Heaven. We pray dear Lord, that you will give us the strength and knowledge to achieve our deidcation to you. Bring us into your boosom as your children, dear Lord. Give us the courage to seek out your will and purpose for us. And let our days on earth that are left continue in your service and blessing. Help us to count the days until we see your face and not the days we have given or have left. Help us to embrace you in death as we have embraced you in life. For we are your children, Lord, deliver us into thy will. We ask humblely that you relieve us of our pain and sorrow. Guide us and heal us with your bountiful blessings. Amen
